Me admitting he isn't glaringly awful is the best I can do. But u have to trade value to get value. He is by far our most expendable asset atm. With sprong coming and jake and rust being of greater importance to the team, a piece like sheary could be useful in trade. Furthermore, any team that may overpay based on his stats won't have a sid there to continue to prop up his stats.

He scores and passes better than most of the wingers Crosby has played with. He can do controlled entries and go 50/50 on the boards. If Sheary executed on all of the plays he looks like a clown and whiffs on, he'd be a 100 goal scorer.

My issues with sheary are when poope gets real he can't stay on the puck....a stiff breeze in the playoffs will separate him from the puck.

I don't like headshots... but that's not Horny's fault... the guy is leaning down... If he's up that's a clear check to the Crest of the sweater.

What a great sports day. Pens win and the Rangers and Yankees lose. Warms my heart.

Gotta disagree with you there, respectively. Horn went upward toward his head instead of straight.

Honestly it looked like a clear case for a suspension. Guy isn't a moving target and Hornquist just stands taller and taller til contact. Principle contact is the head.

Kuhnackel has become a defensive stud on the PK... he's always in the right position and wreaks havoc on the zone entry... he doesn't get much credit.
- hipcheck_goalie

He's very good on the pk, it's what's getting him a spot over Wilson IMO.

NFL is essentially dead. Fantasy football and gambling is the only thing keeping it from massive viewership drop. Football is much better for those games (once a week instead or randomly works well for gambling/Fantasy)

NHL if they had better management could really make a move. Soccer is curious too as the football replacement.

Cap space is prorated thru the year for whoever asked. If you don't use your cap space it saves up in bank. So 3.3 or so in cap space now for 82 games turns into 6.6 for 41 games if you bank it.

And on capfriendly if all things stay the same(which they won't) it says we'll have 9.3 in space at the deadline.

Sorry I must be missing something. How does waiting half a year increase our cap space?
- Thorny87

As the year goes in and a team has available cap space, the unused cap space accrues daily and allows them to fill pick up higher cap hits because the unused cap space is "banked."
