I'm wondering if they ruled it was onside because the puck went in off Seabrook, i.e. the defending team putting it over the line.

Seabrook’s skate pushed the puck over the line. I’m guessing that was the call.

If the Hawks don't win, it won't be because they were the worst team. From the 2nd period onward, they've looked good, minus a breakdown here or there. And that terrible call.

Yeah, that's exactly why. But they know it's ridiculous which is why they're giving the Hawks a makeup call now. Though that doesn't matter so eh.

Boy Duncan Keith is half the player he was, half ass effort on that 2 one 1.

Saw this same effort vs the Preds in the playoffs. That's to bad he was so good.

As bad as he's gotten Seabrook is even worse.

It’s not offside if the other team brings it into the zone - apparently even if inadvertently. What I saw was the puck sliding slowly away from the zone, Seabrook slicing and pushing the puck over the line with his skate.

Fluke result, ignore the scoreboard. I thought the Hawks looked very good for the 2nd half of the 2nd period and most of the 3rd, and were the better team if you ask me. Both teams were without key players. I think this was a nice showing against another elite Western power, even though the refs ruined the outcome for us.

15 played a solid game
If you’re not 100% sure of the challenge you pass and

since when do u pull the goalie with 4:24 to play down 2!

Sorry
This loss is on the Coach.

Hawks started playing well in this game (IIRC) after Q took Anisimov away from Kane.

Boring first. 2nd started to look up. Then they got a PP and muffed up their momentum. 3rd was ok then that goofy call was made and PFFFFT. Deflated.

Isn’t there any “blame” to Seabrook for not being able to hold the puck and then falling down?

Yeah that was the turning point. When they play the highlights someone should insert a slide whistle sound

Never ever sean it called like that but it makes sense, usually a team passes it back into their zone while opposing players are already in it and all is cool as it is a conscience effort.....but to call it on a crazy bounce to me isnt the spirit of the rule. The fact that they use a replay that is an abomination of the rule and find another way to screw up the intent is just so sad.

It’s one play
Q lost it when the call didn’t go his way

He panicked and pulled Crawford with over 4:24 to go

If the Hawks can score 5 on 5

Then with 1:30 u pull the Goalie
Even one of the best loses his cool from time to time - which tonight Q did
