I must say the comment section on this blog has been one of the major trainwrecks of HB history.

Holy crap some people just can't let poop go. It's the internet, you are arguing with facsimiles of real people.

News flash...the Eagles beat a pretty good team on the road and are 5-1. They look like a good football team. What they HAVE NOT done however, is made the playoffs or won a playoff game.

So STOP SAYING (frank)ING SUPER BOWL. People seriously cannot get excited about the Eagles without mentioning the words Super Bowl. It is so (frank)ing annoying. It doesn't matter how good the team is playing in October. Enjoy the season, and hope they are healthy come playoff time. Stay in your lane and stay the (frank) off my lawn.

I do admit. I have enjoyed watching them and legitimately think they are a good team right now. I am not even saying it because I think they are overachieving by some gross amount or think they don't have a chance. I just don't get why people can't just be happy about it and really put it in perspective (I know, I know, Philly). You get nothing for being one of the best teams in the NFL through the first 6 weeks of the season. The same poop happened after they went 3-0 last year

If they can do that and get to 7-1, they would really be in the drivers seat for winning their division and would also have a solid shot at earning a 1st round bye in the playoffs.

Now if they do earn a bye and are one of the top 2 seeds in the NFC, then you can start talking about the Superbowl.
