We debated all last year, it didn't take long at all.

I wonder how your lawyers would feel defending a losing cause.

Oh, there's more if you ever wanna call my bluff again.

Thank you so I can re-post this without doing any research. The joke is on you.

Radko was 3rd in the NHL behind Burns and Krug in individual shots per 60. He was 5th behind Klingberg, Burns, Hedman, Karlsson in on ice shot attempts relative to team. By no means is he even close to as good as them or as good a point scorer, but at ES, he generates a ton of offense. Calling him a "defensive d" is farcical. So, yes, given this and his issues in coverage, he's an offensive minded d man in my mind. Given that his offense significantly counteracts whatever defensive issues he has, I wouldn't gripe at the label 2-way even.

He was 7th in TOTAL shots among d men at ES. Not per 60. Total.

Radko is excellent in the offensive zone, respectable in the NZ, the worst out of the three in the DZ. Sounds like a prototypical defensive d man to me. Like I said, I wouldn't gripe with the 2-way label simply because he's strong enough driving play to more than outweigh his own zone issues.

It's all just a matter of people stereotyping players. There is a modicum of hyperbole in there because I was responding to MJL, but what Radko is actually good at doesn't seem like what he SHOULD be good at. Gudas even repeated this same stuff all last season, actually improving his offense, to only corroborate what I wrote.

You better have gone heavy on RB's TE's and QB's

So looking at Panthers D, Ertz might have a tougher time. They have the best LB group in the league. So MAYBE the stay to the outside.. I guess you go with AJeff and hope that he just hauls in a touchdown.

My starting line up is:

Watson, Gordon, Anderson, Hogan, Jeffry/Diggs/Pryor, Reed, Fuller, Jags D, Zeurelein.

It's been pointed out that I am Roenick97 for years. So if you think you can get me banned for something that everyone knows and a conversation well over a year old, god bless.

I think I made my point.

Even in this moment of sad, obsessive triumph, as you see it, SSB, you don't have the wits to grasp that all you did was go back 1.5 years worth of blogs, spending hours probably in process, to post something I agree with and told you yesterday and would repeat to you right now and that has factual evidence backing it.

There is no more "debating" with you than there would be debating with a fungus covered rock. A Mark Twain quote comes to mind about arguing with stupid people......but I can't imagine Mark Twain ever met the paragon of stupidity that is you.

I pull for Fuller seeing how he is a Philly guy anyway.

PS They are gonna need to put up points in bunches seeing how the defense died last week.

Confusion happens but it's unfair to call someone delusional if you aren't sure if this person is telling the truth or not.

Shouldn't be too hard to find more of these good conversations.

Mkay so he even said "he's obviously not as good as [burns, etc]"

He said he was offensive minded. I wouldn't argue with that. Gudas is not a stay at home defenseman but is often misrepresented as one. He's not Nick Schultz, he likes to push the play, and that's the point being made there.

Your reading comprehension is typically poor, I should have expected this.

This is why you never play board games with pigeons. It always ends up with bird just poopting all over the board and declaring itself the winner.

Your reading comprehension isn't great either. I said this is one of many conversations. I could dig up more.

By the way, how are you sleeping these days? Terrors gone? I would sympathetic if you didn't respond to me in such a gross tone.

on a much lighter note I am currently killing it in fantasy hockey this week, hoping Fuller lights it as well since he is on my fantasy football team, and munching on some beef jerky....

carry on

Is that where we draw the line in humor, G-rated barbs about selling window blinds? The joke, originally by YuenglingJagr to drag his name through the mud, was about being racially colorblind, not actually colorblind....which I guess is less offensive. I honestly can't tell if you're joking because someone else let off a giant stink bomb of indignation in here today. I hope you are.

Just for fun, did you know that this past season Gudas actually performed even better scoring-wise at ES?

15th among all d-men in the NHL with 1000+ minutes in points/60 at 5v5 (35th in actual points). Led the Flyers too, just over Provorov. Again, he was 3rd among d-men in individual shot generation. His overall season, in every facet, last year, even defensive given his usage, was even more impressive than in 15-16.

I don't know how you could see these numbers and think, "That's another Hjalmarsson/Tanev alright!" who are more shot suppressors than generators. I specifically said he's a 2-way play-driving d-man, shaded offensive, who generates his scoring more by volume than skill. What's he is legitimately awesome at is keeping plays alive in the o-zone and sustaining offensive zone time that trickles down into all his stats, offensive and defensive (because he is not often playing there). He is a rather unique player.
