IF you guys fixed your defense you would be set.... I hate to admit it but Toronto is 3 years in front of us.... and that's only if Nylander and Middlestat are the players we hope. (Although I think Middlestat is going to be very good) Nylander better show us something in the AHL this year... if he ever gets healthy.

Jersey team can really skate. They will be a handful for any team.

So sick of these penalties though. We had 8 powerplays and honestly 5 of them were bs calls. Just let the players play. Ruining the sport.

Not sure what to make of that aspect of it yet. One Leaf fan on twitter yesterday said in regards "This isn't even hockey". Whatever it is they're doing I doubt it holds up until march or June for that matter, which I find to be the most aggravating.

Middlestat has got a lot of skill... and his shot might be his best asset, although he is skating around collage hockey players already. He was a great draft choice. Good to hear about Nylander I've only watched him a couple times. I hope you're right about him.

We aren't there yet... the future is closer though. I still think this team can and should challenge for a payoff spot though.
and yes so far I'm not impressed with Murray's draft choices... I hope a couple of the kids in Rochester take a step forward this year.
