Maybe you're right. Maybe he's not on such a program.

But that wouldn't mean he's not having problems off the ice.

Last season was certainly the case.

Habs have won what, the last 14 games between the two?

It is not even a small stretch to suggest that Price stones the Leafs, while the Habs break out of a scoring funk.

- Aetherial

Yeah but 13 of those were before the Matthews era?

Pretty sure we played the Leafs about 5 or 6 times last season.

And we won every single game.

true, I exaggerated the number. But Leafs are a different team this year. I don't base predictions based on history alone.

There is absolutely no reason to think the Habs are going to win next saturday against the red hot Leafs.

So obviously the Habs are gonna win this.

For what it's worth, it was still their best game so far if you ask me.

Frustrating at times but we saw decent scoring opportunities.

Perhaps. I think I saw a stat somewhere that Price's win ratio on Saturday nights in Mtl is quite high.

After four games, #Habs have fired 155 *shots*. That's a league-high. (NYR 2nd with 132, EDM 3rd with 119)

Small victories

i think it ended up being a sellout in the end... real or artificial. but i assume that sellout streak will end shortly unless this turns around quickly. there was very little enthusiasm about this team going into the season and i imagine it's only gotten worse.

This what i think we're all sensing across the fan base. The ignorance and nepotism from the management group is going to catch up with them fast! Going to take some clever management and a long look in the mirror to honestly get us on the right track.

I hope they get a real good beating...just to reinforce the fact the team assembled by MB sucks

I agee. MB is probably in his last year. Montreal having a problem not scoring goals is not a new one. He should have traded PK away for three good players instead of a high paid superstar past his prime and slow in todays NHL. The D man they traded to Tampa I think will be a stud. top D men are much harder to obtain.

Anxious for Saturdays game.

- sparky

yes Pk was good to create offense...both ways...

STFU with the Weber past his prime talk...its getting old...Defenseman last year with the smallest goal allowed againts per 60 min ?

Shea Weber...

I was at the Bell Centre yesterday. Place looked pretty packed.

It was possible there were a few empty seats here and there...I think people are starting to get fed up. Prices are ridiculously high, and we can all agree that as far as entertainment goes, there are some nights it is as exciting as watching paint dry.

- stinger67

Can't believe how slow we've gotten in a short amount of time? We used to kill with speed? Now it's perimeter shots and getting puck marks on the goalies jersey crest.

Do not agree with your comments on Hudon, at least he creating things and he as high intensity...leave him in that spot, might "explode" soon

Where I agree is for Hemsky....bench him already... would rather see any of the DLR, McCarron, Deslaurier or Carr even in there in his stead...

i think part of that is how Julien has them play because theoretically, up front at least they have speed. but they seem to play more plodding/possession hockey like the Bruins did a few years back. which worked great for them. but maybe it just doesn't suit Montreal's personnel.
