Galchenyuk on the fourth line this morning.

Might as well start looking at the upcoming draft, this year's first round pick should be interesting (if not traded by then)

- stinger67

Hemsky on the second?

After 4 games, only 8 players have points

He's looking horrible out there.

Such a goddamn (frank)ing shame.

I thought he looked a bit better yesterday. Got a golden opportunity to take a shot in the slot but decided to pass the puck to a teammate who shot from no angle in Crawford's chest instead.

He did make some decent plays, even hit that post in the third.

But he also had numerous failure in defensive zone coverage, gave away the puck both at even strenght and on the powerplay (in the 2nd period he basically lost the puck on three different powerplays which killed the Habs momentum) and seems to have no awareness whatsoever about what's happening around him.

His reaction time isn't as good as it used to be.... kinda like someone who's tired... the talent is there.... but nothing comes of it.

Brian Wyyyyyiiilde saying it's not the D that's the problem... it;s the scoring...

Well

If you can't get the (frank) out of your own zone, it's gonna be hard to score.

I only watched the post part. So for me, that is the only thing that happened.

I don't see how Habs' D will contain the Leafs' offense... but hey, expect the unexpected.
- Good On Paper

Habs have won what, the last 14 games between the two?

It is not even a small stretch to suggest that Price stones the Leafs, while the Habs break out of a scoring funk.

He needs a #1 center and put drouin back on wing......and NONE are available

Seriously, aside from Mete and Weber, this is what all the other defensemen looked like when they had the puck

I know I'm gonna get stoned for this.

But I suspect the reason he's not being moved up the lineup...

Is because they know he's not 100% dedicated to playing hockey and something else is going on. They keep hinting at it in the media too... saying how he "might" be on the NHL's program for alcool abuse.....

It would also explain why his reaction time/awareness/general play are lacking.

Stop it. If he was in a program for alcool abuse, and by alcool, I mean booze, he wouldn't be on the ice.

Maybe you're right. Maybe he's not on such a program.

But that wouldn't mean he's not having problems off the ice.

Last season was certainly the case.
