Even if we didn't land Matthews/Laine, good forwards are traded every year and we could have pulled the trigger on someone after the 2015/16 season.

ROR is an excellent player, Murray just rushed it. Could you imagine Laine with Eichel? Or even a Matthews/Eichel 1/2 combo?

Even if it was a 20% chance of happening, it would have been worth it, because look where we are WITH O'Reilly.

my opinion is he should not be a 3rd line center

last season, the 3rd line center play of larsson, girgens, e rod was everything you could expect/hope to get


how did pouliot do with the oilers and mcdavid or draisaitl

flanking him with a career ahl player on the other side doesn't help

you need to put the younger players in a place to succeed but as long as okposo and pommer are on rw

and ror and eichel are on the dot, that won't happen
