We also went from 2 Braydens/Braydons to Zero Brayden/Braydons.

Our Braydens/60 is down to zero.

But the Travis count has gone up 100% from last year.

Me too. We could use his one goal and three assists right about now.

I'm wonder when Mason was ever an elite goalie. Weirdest thing I've heard all day.

- SuperSchennBros

Well, he did win the Calder and finish second in Vezina voting in 2009,and he was a top-5 goalie (what I'd consider "elite') during the 14/15 season. So that's when. But it was a joke, sparky.

And I agree, we could have used Schenn taking the dumbest penalty in the history of the NHL to blow a 2-goal lead. That's what this team is lacking right now.

You're all telling me you're fine with the fourth line, which is currently a minus line and Laughton was directly responsible for a loss in LA.
- SuperSchennBros

Yeah? Maybe Sanheim could find his man. You know the only guy on the ice with a chance to put the puck in the net instead of looking at him and not getting over.

It's the NHL, that's how goals are scored, mistakes. I'm certainly not got to trash a rookie over a mistake but the turn over was the start. It was a 3 on 3 and 2 of the Kings were forced wide. Next time he'll take the stride to cover his open man.

I never said anything about Weise but he doesn't deserve a top nine spot.

- SuperSchennBros

Did you watch all three west coast games?
4th line played well in all 3 games speedy, scoring chances, tenacious and drew penalties..spare the costly gaffe,
which schenn never made or will ever again.

Dude, Laughton turned the puck over, failed to cover the man in the defensive zone, and wasn't able to stop the shot. 100% his fault.

Oh, and the fact that he didn't score the goal that would have tied (not won) the game, that too.

Schenn wouldn't have turned the puck over. He'd just pick it up and throw it through the neutral zone.

Really feel for the kid. It's just an incredibly sucky situation for him.

Laughton directly responsible for a loss? He's the 4th line center...He may have had a costly turnover but his line maybe shares 10% of the responsibility for the team putting up a goose egg.

In San Jose the 4th line was very impressive. Thought they were just OK against Anaheim. Didn't see LA.

Laughton was named 2nd star in that game, not to mention the fact that Quick was great, 35-shot shut out.

Not really sure the question is begged, but the answer is that it depends.

The Western Canada games are December 4th, 6th and 7th, and the Phantoms only play once in that period, so if a dman is called up he would only miss one or two games.

Could have crushed Shore at center ice but skated by him. That was what he should have done.

It would also depend on if a call-up is necessary. I'd venture a guess that if Ghost wasn't questionable with the injury that they wouldn't have taken eight defensemen on the season-opening trip.

Not a snob, just don't like a beer that tastes like a hobos butthole after eating taco bell.

Also, it makes me crap brown water.

I rarely drink it, but I do think it is cool that an arena has a beer deal that isn't completely owned by the two (edit: one) beer company

You know, unless you have first hand knowledge of that, the comparison is useless.

I do not have first hand knowledge of that, and we learned something about you today. Also, who ate the Taco Bell, you or the hobo?

Please explain. Leier and Laughton seem to share a brain when they are on the ice...confused how separating them would be better than moving Raffl up to 3 and letting Lehtera/wiese play on 4.

Agree on Morin, but seems him going to LHV has been a foregone conclusion for awhile. The road trip was just a "here's your cookie" move.

- juiced

i agree, I dont think moving raffle will hurt the 4th line, depending who they get back
