If only we still had Steve Mason. He's proven that he's back to being an elite starter. - jmatchett383
Mason would have done fine if the Jets played the same in front of him as the Flyers did for Elliott in games 1 & 3. Put either Flyers goalie behind the Jets the way they played in Games 1 & 2, and they'd have ugly numbers right now, too.

yep the Jets were horrible to their goalies almost all of last year too. I felt a little sorry for Mason signing there.

Please explain. Leier and Laughton seem to share a brain when they are on the ice...confused how separating them would be better than moving Raffl up to 3 and letting Lehtera/wiese play on 4.
Agree on Morin, but seems him going to LHV has been a foregone conclusion for awhile. The road trip was just a "here's your cookie" move. - juiced
They share a brain?
You're all telling me you're fine with the fourth line, which is currently a minus line and Laughton was directly responsible for a loss in LA.
I never said anything about Weise but he doesn't deserve a top nine spot.

I'm just wondering when they're going to reinsert Schenn into the lineup. - jmatchett383
Me too. We could use his one goal and three assists right about now.
I'm wonder when Mason was ever an elite goalie. Weirdest thing I've heard all day.

Not sure how much that would help. I think both Weise and Read will give you very little, so I'd take the one that's 6'2 206 over the guy who is 5'10 180. Honestly, after watching Weise so far this season, I'm wondering which of the coaches coffee cups did Lehtera piss into. Surprised he hasn't at least been given a shot to replace Weise in the lineup. - BiggE
Agreed Weise is nothing more than a 4th line forward, at least Lehtera can pass. I understand why Weise is in, he got the nod due to being here last season and the Flyers played well so far. I think and hope a loss or two and out he goes
