Like yourself I've watched Macdonald play for the last few years...unless you count that time he was sent to the AHL because he was playing so well....mistake prone, inconsistent, a liability....the analytics are consistent....he's just not very good...yes like any guy in the league for that long he has shown periods of usefulness, hence why he has the contract he does. I've listened to you same dribble about him for years.....I listened to your same dribble about Vinny when he was here and you were wrong about that as well.
Yes the kids are young and somewhat inexperienced, but if that's your only argument it's pretty weak. Your Truely clueless when it comes to discussing Macdonald, another bad contract hanging on for the time being, but his time will come sooner then later.

Nice ad hominem. How ironic that you called my argument weak by not offering any argument at all! Zero. No substance whatsoever. The last few years MacDonald has been averaging close to 20 minutes a game playing on the top pair for an NHL team. Defenseman who are a liability, don't get used like that. His reliability as a player is exactly why he has been used as he has. Defenseman who have show periods of usefullness get used on the 3rd pair in limited roles. He is a 10 year veteran of the NHL , most of which he has spent in a top 4 role on an NHL team.
Make an actual case for why they are better now! If you could've done that, you would've of. Instead you chose to attack the poster. I'm not at all surprised that you needed to go in that direction because you made a foolish statement that you can't back up and followed it up with more foolishness.
