Jimbo's "favorite" time right this minute:
The MORON welcoming the Pittsburgh Penguins at the "Day Care Center" (re, Rep., Bob Corker), AKA, the White House.
I know that Jimbo's waiting for the MORON to bring up that Paris related Climate Accord issue he pulled out of this summer, after he stated that, "I care more about the people of Pittsburgh than those of Paris", of all the cities in the U.S. that he had to mention, which upset Jimbo for one hockey fan that day here. |

From James Mirtle:
Matthews played majority of his ice time against Keith, Seabrook, Kane.
84% possession. Even strength shot attempts were 29-3.
Those numbers are ridiculous. - airjan23
I could imagine what those numbers by the Leafs were overall vs. ours during their total domination in those minutes when scoring those last 4 goals in Period 1 (#'s 2 to 5 only) against Hank in that disastrous 1st period on Saturday night. |

Comes down to what MDW said, worked last game, so why mess with it?
Only the 4th game, nothing set in stone yet. - Fenrir
It worked last game because Henrik Lundqvist(after the 1st period) was great. The data shows Kampfer and Holden got caved in. Eventually that's going to happen, resulting in goals against. With some of us blaming Lundqvist and some of us blaming the coach. |

I couldn't imagine what those numbers were only during those minutes when the Leafs totally dominated in scoring those 4 straight 1st Period goals (#'s 2 to 5) against us the other night. That would be interesting to see if it is available. |

He's probably losing his poop like every other liberal right now, never realized how many snowflake bloggers write about hockey, IMO the Pens did a classy thing as did Trump, honored long time tradition |

Brooks is right about everything in that article, except in avoiding to mention how the Rangers can fit Thornton into their cap to begin with, even if the Sharks decided today that they would not be good enough to contend for a Cup.
Miller has to remain at wing, where he is best suited for us. Shatty was brought here to play with McDonagh, so the Captain could return to playing his top defensive game of earlier seasons, without having to lead the rush every time he steps on the ice.
Splitting up Skjei & Smith to play Skjei with Shatty instead, is a defensive liability pairing waiting to happen with that pairing, besides taking away Skjei's offensive skills benefit somewhat. If A.V. wants that pairing, they may as well try to package Skjei with Staal to rid a portion of Staal's $5.7M cap hit, and promote one of the kids like Graves, if not also needing to acquire another veteran defensive minded defenseman.
A.V. has to learn that you do not win Cups by creating holes in part of your lineup to possibly fill holes in another part. Even though he was somewhat forced to do so last season after Zibby broke his fibula, I hope A.V. realized the results after he broke up their top scoring line at that time of Miller/Hayes/Grabner. Each member of that line at least did. But they are not A.V., the head coach. |

The "liberals are snowflakes" crowd has literally turned themselves into caricatures of the exact kind of whiny, temper-tantrum-throwing people they hate.
Everyone is a god damn snowflake. I hate everyone. |

Enjoy. - JRR1285
I read that "second guesser's" article last week. He, like any Rangers fans who simply don't get it, doesn't realize that coming off an Eastern Finals series loss in 7 games to the Lightning, all due to their inability to score any goals AT HOME, including in that Game 7, the Rangers were not going to trade the goalie who AT THAT TIME, gave them the better chance of winning a Cup in the following few seasons.
Why wasn't that douche's article written when Talbot was traded? That coward was scared to write at that time that, "It's over for the future Hall of Fame, King Henrik". So now is when his contract looks bad somewhat? Who was the Patrick Kane or Conor McDavid on this roster back then and now? That's why Hank was given that deal, due to Rangers going as far as he ONLY can lead them, like today sill. |

The view may be that they would prefer he adapts to US Ice and fully learns the system, allowing for a possible promotion down the road. An odd way of handling it, but that might be the decision driver - airjan23
I agree with you 100%, Jan. They will send him to the Czech League after a short stint in Hartford, unless he impresses down there so greatly that they feel he deserves another chance up here soon. That's likely why they didn't send him to the Czech League just yet, and to support their initial decision with him making the Pro roster. |

Anyone recall seeing Smith possibly being injured? - Fenrir
Smith may have possibly been injured slightly on that 3rd Leafs goal a little more than halfway through the 1st Period, when I believe either Hyman or Gardinier split the defense of Skjei & Smith, as well as getting through Zucc., who was also positioned right near them. That was the break in shot goal that I think Hank actually overreacted to, in likely expecting a harder force shot. Then Smith appeared to be standing around only, & possibly even screened Hank on that long shot a few minutes later, resulting in the Leafs 4th goal.
After one of those two goals, I remember seeing Smith's reaction when he looked up high, shaking his head either due to him not playing well against on either goal, or possibly as if he tweaked a muscle in some way.

Hey KreiderBomb, you have your opinion and I have mine. That's what makes this country. You don't see me mocking anyone's political views after they make them. So don't mock mine or any others. If you want to, there are plenty of direct sites you can visit to do so, instead of doing so on this hockey site. |
