I don't really understand the Cracknell pickup. He is pretty much a 4th liner who likes to hit but not much scoring. Unless he plays the PK or something, doesn't seem like an all important player.

That 1st goal was awful.

He's been fine though. If Staal starts playing bad, then yeah, shelter his minutes. As of right now, shockingly, he has been one of our best defenders in this short season so far.

What makes me laugh is he probably had a lot of input with resigning Smith but gives him 2 games while Staal had how many bad games over the past few years and never got the hook? Deangelo is gonna get traded, mark my words

I mean why spend $4.35 on Smith not use him and stare at a glaring hole in the middle?

Yeah, just shutout a team with this exact same lineup. Not sure why people are upset. The lineup everyone wanted gave us 11 goals against in 2 games.

I think its early and AV is just trying to get wins. Does anyone really believe Staal is staying as a 1st pairing the whole year? Or Kampfer is going to be a regular?

I mean honestly if they keep winning I don't care if Smith and DeAngelo spend the whole year on the bench.

im reserving freaking out till like the 10 game mark but just remember there was a lot of "worked last game, why mess with it" two seasons ago when they were getting their poop pushed in but coming up with wins

not trying to compare the two teams what so ever just saying that winning a game doesnt mean the right calls were made
