It's his skating style. He learned a very unique way of skating and can accelerate probably faster than any player I've ever seen from a stand-still to full-stride.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. We never catch a break with players. When really was the last time we drafted a player that actually was good? like really good?

They booed the ever living (frank) out of them at the end of the 2nd period.

Kane was really good last year. I hope he stays a Sabre. A lot of players though have good years when their contract is ending.

And I’ve seen enough of him to know that he does get to top speed in no time at all

But yeah, his back checking and body language without the puck isn’t acceptable.
He didn’t even make an effort to catch that developing 2 on 1 for the 6th (5th?) goal.

I want to see the sabres turn it around. I know what it’s like to suck forever. But this kind of game/effort early in the season for an already fragile organization is bad news...been there and seen it snowball quickly in edmonton

That is my point, Buffalo has had no luck with players over the last almost 30 years. Risto is a nice player but a take over Dman he is not....
