If one of them were placed on IR they wouldn’t be able to play for 7 days which means the team believes both of them will be able to return earlier then that I’m guessing both will be back for Wednesday as long as neither has any set backs at which time the devils can place one or both of IR retroactive to their last game

I believe they wouldn't be able to play Wednesday either. Seven days minimum from date of injury before they can play again if placed on IR. Take it as a good sign that neither injury is too serious
