Wow, Twitter is freaking out about Boeser sitting tonight.

It makes complete sense to me. He had a blank stat line in the preseason game against Edmonton last week - with 2:49 of power-play time. And he faded in general during the later stages of preseason.

With his skating being the weakest part of his game, I don't think Edmonton is a good matchup for him. Jake's way better suited to play against the Oilers.

I'm thinking the Canucks will be better than expected, it goes to overtime. Mcjesus will get a Beauty.

On a side note, for those like me who make bets, the Canucks are 100:1 to make the playoffs, and I just have a hard time believing the Flames/LA/Arizona are that much better than the Canucks on paper.

With Dahlin (a guy I really like) as the potential 1oa, I would put money on th Canucks messing that up and making the playoffs this year. Call me crazy.

Crazy but Buffalo and the NYI are the only two teams I haven't watched at least of a period of yet. I have serious ADD now thanks to NHL center ice. THERE'S JUST SO MANY GAMES TO CHOOSE FROM!

Dunno if its a great idea to have a young prospect sitting in the press box or on the bench like Yamamoto. Cant learn a whole lot watching games and practicing, should be playing as much hockey as they can at that age.
