I would like to post my hate for the poster you mention, 100's of times, but he would probably run to Capt. EO.

Then in the spirit of keeping it, why not add in that Loui got absolutely robbed, Bo should've had his hat trick on the 2 on 1 feed from LE, Sven and Granlund should've scored on their breakaways (and he hit a post later) and JV came really close a few times, and The Sedins and Vanek had a couple great chances on the PP. Plus the Oilers first goal was super weak as well. Now its been kept real.

Yeah I posted within minutes of seeing what new pest role TG had designed for him how it made DD effective. Compared to how DD played in the past this type of play made an impact.

Don loves his grit, work ethic and willingness to fight too much to see the flaws in his game and how he was deployed in the past. Many posters here are split over that and having a younger more capable player take his roster spot.

I'm just excited that a playoff team may see how well DD plays the pest role against superstars and gives good value for a trade by the TDL.

The thing I like about Dorsett is that his give-a-poop meter goes to 15. Sure, his fancy stats might suck compared to others, and his usage under WD late in games down a goal might not have played to his strengths, but he is a great role model, and a capable 10min TOI player in the NHL. Over paid? Who cares, it's not my money.

If he keeps playing in more of focussed, shut down role, rather than chicken with his head cut off from previous seasons, then i'm all for it. He'll end up teaching the younger guys the importance of how to be a team player.

Easy big fella, pull back those reigns a bit. I was pleasantly surprised but the Canucks were outshot 35-26, they were outhit 26-16 and they got two fortunate goals. The bounce on Sutter's goal and a very weak shortside goal for Horvat.
