So apparently, the Flyers are refusing to name their lineup until the game starts (or the pre-game skate), per Isaac. Guess it's hard to find out when there's no game-day practice.

Gotta think this is because one or both rookie D is gonna play tonight.

Or they just want to save grief for the intern that runs the Flyers twitter account so they don't get their boat swamped with people being MAD ONLINE.

There are very few who actually offer competent analysis. Most of it is group think and analysis from afar.

If you knew as much as you think you know about hockey, you wouldn't be on hockeybuzz.

Haha so frustrating when you would put the movie in and it was the end credits.

The problem here is that you have no idea how much I think I know about hockey. I'm a guy who knows that I don't know as much as Ron Hextall, Dave Hakstol and the Flyers hockey department.

I need to go soon, my dad needs to use the phone. My dad checked the phonebook and found the number for the new CVS, and he wants to find out how long it will be to get 3 rolls of film developed.

lol! We had a really short cord that barely got through the kitchen doorway. The rich kids' families had the super long cords - and more than one phone in the house. lol

Martin Spanhel, whose rights were originally traded from the Flyers to Sharks in the Pat Falloon trade. In the same trade, the Flyers traded a 1996 first-round pick, which was then flipped to Buffalo and later to the Phoenix Coyotes. The Coyotes used the pick (24th overall) on Danny Briere.

lol - until my parents moved out of my childhood home they had rotary. I experienced my own push button phone junior year in college when my roommate and I sprung for one.

Damn, very well done. I just remember I have a game-used card of hi, and decided to look him up. Did not know he was a Flyers' pick.

I think my parents always had a push button, at least from when I was allowed to use it. My grandparents had a rotary, I used to love it.

That is the problem -- no one else does. Nobody cares, man. Someone might have tricked you into thinking that they enjoy watching you, but more likely than not, they think you and the person who argues with you are both idiots in equal measure

So what's the deal with Patrick's footspeed? That should have nothing to do with rookie jitters.

Is this a groin issue? In that case we are done for. Was he always slow in juniors? If so, how come the hype?

Don't tell me we have another Michal Handzus - good hands, solid defensively, good passer, slow as hell.

Misdiagnosed last year. Had hernia for a year then had surgery in June. It'll come.

It has to do with recovering from off-season hernia surgery, something the Flyers knew would happen when they drafted him.
