There’s always room on the darkside for Tommy Benghazi.

Yup. Eddie is out battling his illness. Milbury stinks.

All season? I was hoping Eddie would come back at some point.

Why not Kieth Jones? He already does it for the Flyers and wouldn't be as annoying. Drives me crazy

Having to watch Ranger games until February 28th, on NBC sports is going to be brutal.

Although maybe Milbury will get into a fight with Pierre. I would pay for that

Keith Jones hanging in studio with JR. pretty brutal broadcast after losing Strader to Dallas a few years ago and now Eddie this year. I can’t stand Milbury or JR, Keith Jones is good though. And I love to look at Kathryn Tappen.

Yea Kieth Jones as the colour guy instead of Milbury just makes more sense since he already does it for the Flyers.

Not all the game will be on NBC sports.

I said February 28th because I think that's when the Trade deadline is. So once the rangers trade for Joe Thornton I won't have to watch at all.

I don't understand how he coaches sometimes I really don't. Chytil on the 3rd line is fine. Most of us wanted that to shelter his minutes. Perfectly fine. Playing with Zucc and Nash, even better. He gets to be on line with two guys that have a combined 1,372 games of NHL experience. So he can learn on the fly. But he (and Hayes) are gonna ride pine of the power play. But he'll kill penalties. So dumb.

How is it that we always know better than the guy who watches these guys play everyday AND played in the league?
I don’t have the facts anymore than you do (there’s a message there), but maybe the kid shows great positioning and instincts on the kill. Maybe he has a youthful tenacity and energy AV wants to install in the PK. Maybe he doesn’t want to put added pressure to put up numbers on the kid if the PP fizzles to start the year (as it did in the preseason). Maybe the kid made the team in part because he’s a really good PK’er.

So you think it's a good idea to have David Desharnais on the power play over Filip Chytil and Kevin Hayes?

DD had a grand total of 2 power play points last year.
