Well sure, but lets remember Chytil literally just turned 18 and will playing in his 1st NHL game. You want to throw him in every situation possible? I say let him just worry about playing well at even strength and go from there. If he plays great there is plenty of time in the season to put him on the PP if he deserves it.

How in the world does this make sense? Hey kid we know the NHL is tough and you're only 18, go kill penalties. Should have expected nothing less from AV.

I don't understand how he coaches sometimes I really don't. Chytil on the 3rd line is fine. Most of us wanted that to shelter his minutes. Perfectly fine. Playing with Zucc and Nash, even better. He gets to be on line with two guys that have a combined 1,372 games of NHL experience. So he can learn on the fly. But he (and Hayes) are gonna ride pine of the power play. But he'll kill penalties. So dumb.

Well I have a feeling it won't last. We shall see.

More to the point though, yeah if I had a choice between the 2 I would rather have a rookie gain confidence by being on a PP where he has a better chance of scoring than a PK where he has a better chance getting scored against.

Personally just want him to concentrate on 5-5 and go from there.
