The Knights are 2-0. Soon my sweet princes I will be yours. Just waiting on Gorton getting in touch with Jumbo Joe.

It's gonna be Skjei, a first and Staal for Duchene.

We've seen that movie before. He'd lose all scoring touch. Except this is the guy that poop on the Rangers in multiple public interviews. The people in this fan base who want him, deserve what they get. No buyers remorse.

I would think they would be deaf in a few minutes, but apparently they can hear me sneaking up in my socks and stop until I get comfortable.

Dead on from Hank

"the first period was embarrassing. Not what you are looking for in the second game. I need to be better, it was a period where they were just all over us. There was no structure in our own end and I was unable to come up with enough saves. They are a good team, a really good team and they make you pay if you are not sharp with your decisions, especially in your own end. For me, a couple of the goals, you make a save and try to be in the right place and they come right back at you. It was a tough one, I gave up five goals in one period. Not going to try to look for excuses, I need to be better even though it was a really tough period to play."

- KreiderBomb

Hank is correct in depicting how embarrassing of a 1st Period they played. That was likely one of, if not thee #1 most embarrassing one since they blew that 4 goal, 3rd period lead in Montreal during I believe Jagr's days here about 10 seasons ago, in losing that game also with Hank in the net.
In being "Hank", he admitted that he needed to stop "a couple of the goals". But the issue as he also mentioned was the "POOR STRUCTURE IN OUR OWN END" (including the forwards). He didn't mention the enormous giveaways, nor Grabner "pushing" one right past him for the 5th goal. With him "not looking for excuses", it also was as Hank said, "a really tough period to play", due to the onslaught of overall quality scoring chances that the Leafs had, which also falls greatly on this coaching staff due in key to that poor structure defensively.

How this group of veterans let that happen last night, why is it aside from last year a struggle for hockey players to go and play half decent hockey? I'm convinced AV isn't long for this job, the leash better grow tight cause he should have been fired in May

At least Raanta blew his game and Talbot got pulled after 3 goals on 7 shots

Very poor start so far but at least we play again tonight. Get Hank back in there & let him figure it out. But what about Smith, DeAngelo * the rest who are playing piss poor defensively?

Good to see Shatty get his first & Zuc & Zibby look good. But Chytil's time is clearly not now. So get us another bottom six center Gorts & get it now.

They need to forget about last night. Get the lead and play some team defense.
The PP is good but the rest of their game sucks right now. Kind of ironic

Let him get his feet back.

Normally don't panic but this would really be a sh!tshow if they lose again tonight.

I think they will figure it out, still plenty early. AV just has to figure out the right lines and make a decision on Chytil now. Either send him back now and make Miller a C or let him play.
