So AV wouldn't use a timeout after 3 or 4 goals but after they go down 1 he challenges the play and puts the Leafs back on the PP, what horrible coaching

I said that during the 1st period A.V. should have called his timeout after the Leafs 3rd goal to slow the pace and give his team a mouth fill of words (& not chewing gum). Tortorella use to use his timeouts early in the 1st period after an icing with his team gassed and the game scoreless.
Remember that loss to the Caps 2 or 3 seasons ago, when Hank was standing on his head protecting a 1 goal lead, with the Caps having puck control during the last 2:00 of the game for close to a minute straight, with Hank being gassed after a whistle with about 30 seconds remaining? He had pleaded in motioning to the bench for A. V. to use his timeout call, which he did not do. Then off the ensuing face off, the Caps tied the game, and won it in OT. After that loss, Hank had some choice words he used on A.V.

Probably just me, but a few times tonight I thought Vesey looked just like Step - slowest guy in the league... #blamehaze

It's as if A.V. holds onto his timeout in chief for Arniel to set up his own Vince Lombardi last seconds play, in case down by only 1 goal with 10 seconds remaining.
