What were the grade A chances? It's one thing g to ask Hank to make that many high quality saves over the course of the game, over a ten minute stretch is ridiculous

But he let in 2 bad goals out of those 5 scored. Besides that you guys know hockey, even if Hank had been great its a momentum, change of pace thing. The TEAM allowed 5 goals in less than a period, time for a change, a wake up call.

The closer in quality shot attempts of the Leafs in the first period were "waaaay" better than those for the Rangers. I guess you also missed the numerous deflected shots that Hank faced alone. I didn't get a chance to see the puck possession time in each team's zone, which will prove so even more.
If you are so inclined to blame this game on Hank if the result stays the same, although the Leafs lead is now down to two on Zibby's 3rd goal of the season, then this team will be in trouble in the long run, should Hank's game be heading downward.

You don't know what it feels like physically on the ice as a goaltender to be under siege as much as Hank was in that first period. That also DOES NOT INCLUDE HIS MENTAL THINKING as to "what the hell are my defensmen and forwards going to do", when preparing to face the next set of shots, prior to him even setting up himself in position.

You also missed my pre-game blog that "TPC" had demanded in "needing a new thread here", when the talk was non hockey talk. I wrote there in part that they had to pressure the Leafs defense, while not neglecting their own two way play.
