I like this team a lot. The only thing I am worried about is if Chytill doesn't last, what do they do about the center spot.

Their opening loss two nights ago was just one game. But coming off a 102 points Wild Card spot, & after a disappointing first 10 minutes which cost them that home opener, the Rangers need to win 2 of these next 3 games, (having 3 of the first 4 at home), to prevent falling slightly behind this early, or possibly even further in the improved Metro. Div. & Eastern Conference. A great start is as crucially necessary this season as it turned out to be last year, due to having 10 of the first 13, and overall 18 of the first 26 games through Dec. 1st at home.
There is no time to waste or experiment, especially tonight against a young Toronto team that features three top scoring lines, in which their projected 3rd line of Marleau - Kadri - Komarov would be some other teams' 2nd lines, and for a few, even their first one. Their defense must be pressured when possible, without neglecting two way play. Nor must A.V. start playing games with Chytil's head, as he did a couple of seasons ago with Hayes.
What was the big deal for needing predominantly speed, if only employing it to capitalize offensively on opposition's mistakes as in the first 10 minutes against a projected bottom of the pack Avs team, prior to using it & getting beaten by a hot goalie in the final 40 minutes. Do it from the get go. The opponent was the Avs after all. Now more than ever, it's a 60 minutes game. If the head & assistant coach still do not get that yet here, including when playing with 3rd period leads, they will need a vocal player as close to a Messier team voice goes leadership wise, to make up for the difference. Good luck with that search, Jeff Gorton.

Devils scored 4, back up yes but still they went out and secured 2 points against a team that shouldn't be in the game with us, I think the Rangers don't back up the talk

Unless JT can play center, we're in trouble. I'm sure AV won't try it, but I would give Zuke 10 games as the 3C and see what happens...

9 games to find out if he can stay here, well 8 now. AV said it himself that in order for Chytil to stay he has to prove he can help the team not just be here. Not going to find out unless he plays.

With that said wont kill him until game 7 or 8. There was lots of special teams play the other night.
