Of Eichel's $80 M contract, $15 M of it is in signing bonuses, $7.5 M sb in 2020-21 and $7.5 M sb in 2022-23

Not that they would, but interesting his contract isn't "buyout proof" And the signing bonus means if there is a lockout in those years, he has to get paid.

If Skjei has a better year than last and is racking up the points, I really hope they extend him long term and screw the bridge. Because his contract will be ridiculous after the bridge.

He might have to get the bridge. Especially if they want to re-sign your precious Mr. Nash.

Well obviously if that is the choice they don't re-sign Nash. I think they might be able to squeeze it depending on what Nash would want.

Fast practicing in a normal white jersey. He’s passed non-contact.

Have a feeling he might be in the line-up quicker than expected

Igor Shestyorkin stops 25 of 26 for his 13th consecutive win. Made a big save on Enver Lisin's late coast-to-coast effort.

Feel like Chytil should be on the 2nd PP instead of Desharnais

Don't want to give the kid too much at once. Let him settle in see how it goes. I would put Hayes in over Desharnais though.

That also works. Desjardiens might not be the new Pyatt, but Desharnais will be.

Yeah, but who are you building towards long term Chytil and Hayes or David Desharnais?

Well sure, but lets remember Chytil literally just turned 18 and will playing in his 1st NHL game. You want to throw him in every situation possible? I say let him just worry about playing well at even strength and go from there. If he plays great there is plenty of time in the season to put him on the PP if he deserves it.

3rd and the 2nd unit of PP isn't every situation possible. Shelter his minutes, and have him be given chances to boost his confidence.
