The offense was fine in the offensive zone. In transition is where the Avs made the Rangers pay for their mistakes. The Leafs are very good and play a much faster brand of hockey.

Tough loss, but it's opening night. The PP looked good, generated chances & moved the puck well, got beat by a hot goaltender which can happen on any night. Move on & get 2 points on Saturday night.
