What do you think of the first two? - Pete V
I'm not sure to be honest. I don't think I have an issue with the limit of 6 rounds per clip. The fingerprint issue is going to be a lot more difficult to do logistically.
But the problem isn't the guns themselves. The "bad guys" are always going to get their hands on guns, so I think you're basically taking it away & making it more difficult for responsible gun owners.
Sixty people dead in Vegas is a tragedy, but Chicago will have half of that number killed every single weekend. But no one says a word about that. |

nothing will be done, nothing will change, no need to worry
the only thing that has changed is that we have become so desensitized to this kind of thing happening it's not much of a shock anymore |

I agree with that completely. Pretty sad commentary on society. We'll just move on to the next tragedy. |

Fingerprints?
So every gun is going to a have a battery pack on it?
And when you desperately need to use it, hopefully never, the battery is dead and so are you? Then your wife picks it up but, oops her fingerprint isn't a match or the battery is dead as well and she is dead too.
Fact of the matter is most people have them for target shooting, hunting and for sport.
I do 100% think there should be a limit to NUMBER of guns purchased. What this dude stockpiled was INSANE and UNNECESSARY.
EDIT: But there are ways around that too as well, just have them under someone else's name. |

I really hope we don't see the occasional slow start Hank at the beginning of this season. Then we will here how we should have traded Hank with Stepan and kept Raanta |

Yeah, nothing's changing, no doubt. If nothing changed after Newtown it never will.
Plus, being honest, there is already 300 million guns in circulation. That's a lot.

Is that really a reason to do nothing??? In some ways, I will never understand your country. I know that sounds more offensive than I mean it to, but man, I just don't get the need for guns.
More guns, more access to guns = more deaths by gun. It's really not complicated. |

I don't even really know, to be honest. It's not something that the average citizen even thinks about. We just don't have 'em. Not in crazy numbers anyway.
I do know that EVERY single must be registered. Even hunting rifles. That one caused a bit of a stir a while back, but it passed without much trouble.
edit: I don't think I've ever actually seen a real handgun here, outside of the ones in Cop's holsters. |

Do you just detach from everything that goes on in the world? I swear, the Nukes are going to be flying and you are going to be wondering why they cancelled the Rangers-Ducks game.

No, not at all. I just know how most thing go on here with topics that both sides feel strongly about. Usually turns into insults and 6 pages of people saying dumb poop. - mdw7413
Listen, if you say another word to me, I am going to bust a cap in your ass, o.k.?
I went and visited some old friends a couple of months ago. One of the guys from the old neighborhood told me he bought a gun for protection. Nice guy but the dumbest motha f'er you'll ever meet. Once tried to study from a high school history test by sleeping on his book, thinking he would learn the information through osmosis or something. I poop you not.
I immediately thought this guy ain't protecting himself and his family from anyone. He's way more likely to have some tragic gun fail where someone get's shot, that ain't a bad guy. |

We should get emotional about it. Someone people just don't give a rat's ass until it happens to them.
