I think a few guys will be moved at the deadline if they aren't in a playoff position:

Filppula: they will have to eat half the salary to move him to a contender, but he's the type of guy that contenders love to add to their bottom 6 forward group.

Manning: in his last year, so maybe someone parts with a 7th for some depth heading into the playoffs

Raffl: His cap hit is under 2.5 million and if he's having a good season, I could see some teams having interest

Simmonds: Some folks won't want to hear it, but if he's having his usual season, his trade value will likely never be higher. A contender would be getting a very good player for both the stretch run and the following season for a cap hit under 4 million. Hextall would be a fool to not at least listen to offers.

IF Simmonds is moved, I think it's at the draft next year.

Also, i think Manning can get you more than a 7th, if he is moved. He's a depth guy on a good team, but I think you might be able to get a higher pick than that.

One small thing, Bill has the Flyers playing tonight, tomorrow vs LA, and Friday(?) in Ana? Im assuming thats Saturday right?
