Jordan Weal: 8 goals/12 points in 23 games played. Shooting percentage: 16.3.

"Are you kidding me Hakstol, how did you cut this kid?"

Dale Weise: 10 points in 14 games. Shooting perentage 20%

"He got lucky!"

- Baxter27

Jordan Weal: 24(?) year old with legitimate speed, plus hands, and creativity that this team so desperately needs. Plays a skilled game now, and has the potential to improve an already useful offensive game.

Dale Weise: 30(?) year old grinder with average hands and mediocre speed. Offers little creativity and little room for improvement on a mediocre skillset at this point in his career. Has never broken 15 goals nor 30 points.

Amac and Filppula to share an A. Players voted
- Baxter27

Totally shocking... the people who actually play the game of hockey have a different opinion than a bunch of people who just yap about it on a message board.

That's impossible. I just hope morin stays up because I think we need him in the mix.

I have no words

Seriously, if that's how their teammates voted, then so be it.

It would be really nice having another D man who makes everyone on the other team keep their head on a swivel, and one who can disrupt a play the way he can, and can just impose himself around his own net.

Yes. For sure. Joking aside, I'm not too concerned because I truly believe that sanheim and morin will be up for good in a month or so. Earlier if there are injuries.

Oh me too, but again. Can't argue it. If his teammates want him to share an A, for whatever reason they site, they're legitimate. They're in the locker room, not me

Say what you want about MacD, but you cannot honestly say he was a whiny turd when he got sent down. He handled it about as well as anyone could expect. If nothing else, from a maturity standpoint, he's a consummate pro.

Sure he is. If something else, though, he's a poor defenseman relative to the NHL, and that's the problem.

I don't dislike the guy at all. He's a perfectly acceptable 4/5 NHL Dman. I just think the Flyers have 6 better options to put in the lineup right now.

I like Filppula too. Solid ES player which this team can use. I just don't like him playing in a shooters spot on the pp. Square peg/round hole.

He's also a 10 year veteran of 473 games played who has now been used in a top 4 role by how many NHL coaches? He has his weaknesses but perhaps he's a better player than given credit for.
