I haven't looked into this, but does a claimed player have to be put on the NHL roster?I thought this was the case, but I am not sure. If yes, for how long?

EDIT: But from all indications Jack wants this to be his team...might end up pissing him off if you decide not to name a captain. The Sabres should not be in the business of pissing off Mr. Eichel when they still havn't got a contract signed.

That I can agree with. It shouldn't matter if there's a letter on a guys sweater. If he feels he wants to be a leader on the team, then he should just speak up and do what he feels he would "need to" if he was wearing the letter. It's that simple, IMO.

He's going to be the most important person in this franchise and I want him in every single historical thing ever

So maybe one day when I have kids I can say he was the the best captain in Buffalo Sabres history that brought home a cup

Yeah, but McCoy in real life can make plays even video game McCoy can't make. Majority 2nd and 5 or sometimes 1st and 10 on the next play isn't bad.

You're allowed to make more than one trip with luggage. It's a Vegas hotel, super busy, you can get away with a lot.

In the bigger picture Rychel is better suited size wise and style of play wise IMO over a guy listed at 5-9 for bottom 6 duty. I'd surely rather have him here over Moulson.
