Im fairly confident that at least one of those guys you mentioned won't be here when eichel's new deal kicks in.

If they want to wait a year to see him dominate and get that extra 1 mil im okay with that vs paying kane or lehner long term.

"Deserves" might be a bit of a reach right now, if we are going by that logic i would say he deserves draisitl money, not 10M+ by any stretch of the word. Heck, stamkos just signed for 8.5M av last year and hes put up 60 goals and was a free agent. No offense to him but jack hasnt even put up 60 pts in a year yet. This isnt me hating... I expect him to light it up this year all im saying is if it doesnt get done soon just go kill it and he will earn/deserve that 80M+ which i wouldnt have any problem giving him at that point.

Whether we keep all three, or none, making decisions about them or any other player that would replace them would be helped by certainty regarding Eichels hit.
