And if 100 people had a carry permit near that wack job there might be a lot less loss of life.

Oh my god, do you really think this?

If some other people had a gun, it wouldn't have happened!

Mention black on black crime, every single conservative on Earth comes from the wood-working to mouth off about it and how big of a problem it is.

Mention most mass shootings in America are White males, see their heads explode.

"You can't make everything about race"

Guess what? In America, right now, EVERYTHING is about race and we can't get over it, for going on over 50 years we can't get over it, for going on 150 years, blacks haven't had the same rights as whites, we have the original, indigenous people of this continent living on concentration camps, blacks living in "projects" (concentration camps), had LITERAL concentration camps for any Asian during World War 2 and if the largest demographic is white males, and the most likely mass-shooter is a white males, then you can't say this isn't a race issue.

Clearly, white males have some issues beyond anyone else.

Our country is being run by a man who openly admitted to sexually assaulting women, has been documented flying to a child sex-slave island and is a raging sociopath.

Yet he still got elected.

Something tells me that white males have insecurities beyond measure.

I apologize for talking to you like that. It's a poop situation. It sucks and I have no answers.

Don't apologize. And don't take me as someone who's just trying to "attack" you or anyone else.

I'm a big proponent of the idea that different perspectives and intense discussion can only lead to all of us bettering ourselves.

The situation in this country is currently (frank)ed beyond imaginable concept. But let's stop sugar-coating things, especially since everything is about race right now. We might as well address it; I'm certainly not going to keep my mouth shut about it and trust me, every demographic has issues, but if we can go on and on about black on black crime and inner-city violence (which is mostly systematic) then it's time to start calling our own people out on some poop, too, and it is a straight fact that white males have access to guns a lot easier than any other demographic, and they are disproportionately the perpetrators in a lot of mass-shootings in this country.

Gun violence is always going to exist if you have a "right to bear arms".

You cannot compare gun-related deaths and mass-shootings, they are different beasts.

Explain Chicago to me?

Seriously the strictest gun laws in the country and yet their gun related murder rates are through the roof.

Gun violence is an issue in the country but more regulation is not the answer, just like the war on drugs, stricter laws doesn't mean anything to a criminal.

Most of the mass shootings in this country steam from mental illness

Let's start there.

Better health care (not free but better)

More options, the private sector has ruined what health care should cost. They don't treat anything, they give you drugs to curb it.

Let's work on that.

I agree, more regulation isn't the answer. The more 'difficult' you make something to obtain, the more easily it will enter the underground market and be more attainable.

And Chicago is a mess, like a lot of major cities. The problem is systematic oppression.

I call bull-poop on most of these being "mental-illness".

It's just hate and cowardice, most mass-shootings, IMO. Pure sociopathic behavior.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't doesn't being a sociopath imply that there's some sort of mental issue?

People don't just wake up and decide to be a sociopath just because. I'd be willing to be there's always some sort of mental health issue that started the whole thing in the first place.

Because I'm a conspiracy theorist: the Bills will make the playoffs helped in part by beneficial refereeing to make the idea of a taxerpayer-funded stadium more palatable

Not in this country, since the end of WWII and the start of the Cold War. This society, the machine that is 'America' has been breeding and rewarding sociopaths for the better part of 50+ years now. This is mostly down to a simple life choice to be selfish and entitled and I'm absolutely disgusted at the term "mental-illness" being used as an excuse for people who don't want to be held accountable for their heinous offenses against innocent people.

They absolutely choose to do what they do.
