No I can't think of any reasons.

In regards to Gostisbehere 2 years ago wasn't he also coming off the ACL injury and that played a little bit in the decision because he missed time in his development

I think you're right about the ACL injury. Ghost got called up for a few games, looked good then got hurt in the AHL.

I also overheard two guys at the gym mentioning they posted pics of hot chicks on their IG just to get more followers.

I think that's crazy. I don't understand why people want random followers. It makes no sense to me.

It was from the strain of waiting on all those fairy dust AHL passes to get to him at the point that never came.

I remember his first NHL game. He had the puck behind the net with nowhere to pass it and 2 forecheckers. He skated the puck straight out from behind the net, right in front of the net, and then had a passing lane.

At the time, I was freaking out because hockey 101 is you never put the puck in front of your net. The issue is that I was so accustomed to lower-skill defenseman that I didn't realize that the rule didn't apply if you had the skill and confidence to try it.

I agree, Sanheim should make the team on merit

but Ghost had a great pre-season a 2 years ago and got sent down.
Only got recalled because Streit was out.

Wish our #7 D was a veteran who was formerly s PP QB or offensive minded.
Not sure Manning/AMac should be teaching these kids. Timonen would be perfect.
