Sanheim has a flat out amazing game, has pretty much wrapped up a spot for himself (if Ron sticks to his words and keeps the players that deserve to be in the lineup on the team)... and yet here we are arguing about Couts...

If Hextall meant what he said about the younger players outplaying the older, then yes. Sanheim SHOULD be in this lineup without question.

And he's been playing better and better every game.

Regardless of where he is playing, I'd really like to see G get more shots on net. I think he only has 1 credited shot in the last 2 games. I know it's still preseason, but I'd rather see a bit more of a shoot first mentality from him. Even if it's simply at the pads to generate a rebound.

Patrick is gonna be exhausted

3 games in 4 days coupled with 2 guys being hurt. Not the first time they've done this. I'm sure he will go back down and get back to preparing for the AHL season once the game is over.

Could also want to get a good luck at him against an NHL lineup.

I think Vorobyev is a sleeper and could end up being recalled quicker then expected this season. i think he'll put up good numbers in the AHL.

Just my feeling based on what I have seen and his skill set.

Safe to say that Sean Couturier has no offensive upside. He should not be on the power play, he has no creativity to his game. And for all of you that say but he drives play 5 on 5, the guy has never cracked 40 points, just stop.

Not MJL but I'll give it a go.

Patrick isn't going to play more minutes then Couturier this year. If your plan is to match up Couturier against the other teams top line then he will be on the ice more then Patrick.

Also this is Nolan patrick. Not Connor McDavid. I have no doubts Patrick will be a great player. But he has developing to do. He isn't on McDavids level.

I actually like the Rangers broadcast team. The Bruins and Pens broadcast teams make me want to bang my head against the wall.

Don't need to defend him rather I'll just offer some facts. Couturier has scored at 2nd line center levels at ES in a number of seasons and has been one of the more productive Flyers in 5 on 5 play offensively. You state that they should leave Couturier at 3C. He has to have actually been a 3C to leave him there. As usual your posts are long on rhetoric and short on facts.

This is pretty funny. It's pre season.

I wouldn't say first line sucked and Couturier wasn't the problem. I just don't think Giroux looks comfortable on LW. Him and Jake still got their chances but they really had nothing to do with him on LW. I believe he was on the right side of the ice for both chances. I'm okay to keep the experiment going a little while longer but at some point they need to let Giroux settle in and prepare to bounce back. Hell, show me this next.
