Mete looks good. Very poised with the puck...finally an encouraging prospect. Hope Lefebvre doesn't (frank) him up if he goes to Laval next year.

Hey Pete, I am meeting with the Nigerian deposed prince this evening at 11:35, in the parking lot of a high school in Jane and Finch Toronto. He has to be very discrete.

All he needed me to do was bring 2,000 in a plain brown paper bag to give him as a show of faith and trust. Then I just give him my bank information and he will have his people deposit the money directly into my bank account.

My boss wasn't happy when I quit today. He said I was being foolish. I gave the old F-You! and walked out LOLOL!

Don't worry, I will definitely share this blessed bounty with my HB friends

Anyone think we have a remote chance of winning the October Cup again this year?

Now I understand why Bergie gave that insane contract to Price ... it's the only way he can keep his job at this point.

He must be sacrificing chickens on his shrine to Price.

You have more faith than I do ... I still think we should blow the whole thing up and start over (proper rebuild). This team is going nowhere at this point.

I understand the sentiment. The problem is there are some real good pieces there and some good young pieces (love to have Mete in the Leafs organization) and the best goalie in the world still in his prime. The mix really isn't bad.

I feel like a player like Duchene would change the whole makeup of this team.

It's also pronounced "Mété", so your joke should look more like that :

"Mete pétalons, personne veut te voir la graine".

We do have a few good pieces but they're not getting any younger ... and we don't have enough of them to bring us far in the playoffs.

I'm not sold on Duchesne ... but give me Tavares and I might change my mind. There's no law against dreaming.

Lehkonen, Danault, Galchenyuk, Gallagher, Drouin. The team is pretty young, at least up front. You may have to add Hudon and Mete.

The thing with this game is Price probably saves 3 of those goals.
Will be interesting what each team puts out there Wednesday night.

Matthews was the best player out there tonight though.

The thing is that teams that rely too much on their goalie is a symptom of weaknesses elsewhere.

That's been the modus operandi of this organization for far too long ... and totally against the historical DNA of this organization. The lack of results speak for themselves.

The Habs have historically been know for great speed and skill (Flying Frenchmans) ... we won 24 freakin' cups with this philosophy.

All we have now are 4 lackluster (boring) lines but with a great goalie ... and you need to mortgage your house to watch what amounts to be a bunch of AHL'ers.

Yeah ... sell me a season ticket!
