Every year I'm excited about preseason and every year after 2 or 3 games I hate it. I'll wait for the real season to start before I panic. One thing is for sure though, not that is it very surprising, but I find the lack of prospects making a push for a job very disappointing.

They don't have much depth, but at least there should be guys that get cut that you would think of when it comes to call-ups during the season. This year, I don't see it. They look like they all regressed.

Pickings were scarse...10th round of a 14 team draft. There is Galchenyuk....even the Habs fans I draft with hadn't taken him to this point. I did. And even at that low a pick, I ask myself....why??

Oh well, at least he is Centre AND LW viable.
