Is it to evaluate McCarron with better linemates? Is it to send a message to Galchenyuk?

Is it simply to keep him in the lineup and practice the powerplay with Drouin, Pacioretty, Mete and Weber?

Why not try him on the first line just to see if things wouldn't go well?
