There is no way Bratt hasn't played himself onto the team. I'd be surprised too if he wasn't on the opening night roster.

Bratt will get his 9 games without a doubt
Stafford looks like Ray got another bargin
Ray replaced what we had in Larsson with Mueller and Nico and Zacha look like the belong sry Rico

I read on another thread he had to be helped off the ice, hope he's okay. I didn't see it though.

Andy Gross in his fire and ice blog update said McLeod limped off but didn't see any contact that caused it, said could be the ice which he said sounded slushy

Not yet. I'd assume cuts will be announced by noon or 4pm. Usually that's when management breaks news. I could be wrong tho lol

sorry, this place sucks and you're all a$$holes? lol

compared to some other social media sites, this lacks the politics, the personal attacks from one spineless person to another, the nonsense, etc. It's generally a positive experience here lol.

That, and I got caught in my first rip current sunday, getting sucked further and deeper into the ocean and having a genuine moment of feeling like I might not make it out.. so I'm just appreciating the positive things in life a little more recently.

In addition, work sucks, and a lot of people suck. But you guys don't suck, and hockey doesn't suck, even if the Devils do.

The waves were nuts here too, I was tossed pretty good a few times. Glad you made it.

Thanks guys. Yea there were over 30 rescues that weekend in Belmar alone, one death in Asbury.

The waves were crazy, probably the biggest I've ever seen or been in. Those were fun lol. The first time I went in there was a sandbar past the initial chest-level water, and 3 other guys being idiots like me, so went there and did the waves and all that.
The second time I went in I didn't want to be in this lady's space so I went to the right of that area, let the water take me because I thought I'd be hitting that same sandbar.. but it never came, and to my surprise I was unable to swim to shore. I had less and less time being able to stand in the water without having to tread to stay above, not to mention the ocean floor isn't flat, so there were some spots that were a few inches lower than others obviously. I realized that the waves weren't breaking the same where I was either.. they would kind of half-break, to the point where they weren't pushing me towards the shore. No breaking waves to push me, and higher and higher water. At first I was like this is ridiculous, I can't believe this is happening. And then I had the "oh poop" moment where I realized that I could potentially get pulled out realllly far and tire out and not be able to stay above water.
I tried swimming parallel to the shore but the rip was hindering me from going sideways as much as it was keeping me from going forwards. I finally caved and started to wave for help whenever the water was low enough that I didn't need my hands to tread to stay above it. I saw that lady in the water over to the side and knew that sandbar was there if I could only get to it. By some miracle, maybe God, if you believe in that (I do), the water went down to my shoulders for .. probably .. eh maybe literally 5 seconds, and I just tried to tread and walk sideways towards that sandbar.. and with every step.. there was sand under my feet, and I finally hit that sandbar.. water down to my hips. I couldn't believe it, and just stood there exasperated before walking back and laying on the beach lol.

I left the beach that day with mixed emotions. Part of me grateful, part of me embarrassed that I didn't think that the sandbar might not extend down past where I went in before, or to look at the water for any signs of a rip current before going in.. I was too concerned with having my own space away from this woman. It left me feeling almost like I had to start-over life, and my starting point was back with all the nonsense that I already had going on, obviously, which was kind of depressing in a way. I went home to my room looking at it as if it could've been the room of a son who drowned in the ocean. I still feel kind of checked-out. I have some weird responses to normal things now.. like our company car overheated on the Parkway yesterday, so I pulled over, lifted the hood to check it out, got anxious that it could explode and I'd die.. or felt anxiety that the car could get hit by traffic and kill me. Even driving home in my own car, looking at the side airbag label, I felt the feeling I felt when having the oh poop moment in the ocean.

pretty amazing how the brain works and processes events.

so that's my story. APPRECIATE ME; I'M NOT DEAD! lol.
