Just looking at the birthdays for Pettersson, Gadjovich and Lind, they are all some of the older players taken in the 2017 NHL draft, Gadjovich and Lind will be 19 years old in a few weeks and Pettersson will be 19 in mid November.

For reference, Juolevi is only five months older than Gadjovich and Lind, and six months older than Pettersson. So give Olli some time to grow and develop!!

Sadly, what you saw was what we are going to get this season. Only 2 forward spots available. Even adding in size and speed with Boeser and JV or Rodin won't make enough of a difference.

I don't think the team has enough size and speed to allow a player like Sam Gagner to play his game.

Trade Tanev to Columbus for Josh Anderson +

A team that could take on Loui Eriksson contract could be Carolina. They lack depth on the wings. 17 million in cap space. With the trades them made this season, they seem to be looking for experience.

They need to start fixing that , the team speed is horrible. I also think Chattfield will help out on the back end with that.

I think the team speed will hurt Gagner same as it has hurt other players that had success with other teams like Bonino and Eriksson

He had his moments in TC here. Some good some bad but when he left I thought this could be a good pick

I would consider it a successful season if 2 young players were integrated into the lineup.
As a supporter of Jake, I am hoping he and Brock make this team.
For me it is not so much about this season, it is about drafting and developing over the next 3 seasons, although good drafting is a must always.

Development. I don't like the idea of bringing kids into a team that they aren't supported by. I would rather see JV make strides in the AHL then possibly become stagnant in the NHL on a bad team.

Only got to see him once last season and then during summer, he plays a smart game and looks like he should be a Centre.
Does he play any shifts as a Centre in Kelowna?

Hopefully only for one year although I would like to see Loui play with the twins . Why ruin two lines?

Sven Bo BB
JV Granlund Gangner
Then I don't care

I don't recall, he does distribute the puck well though.

I'll watch him more this season obviously.

Personally I believe Virtanen made big strides in AHL last year, he no longer runs around trying to plow guys and drives harder to the net.
Developing can be as simple as working on some weaknesses.

Loui doesn't really play with speed either. Split them all up.
Loui Bo BB
Sven Henrik Vanek
Daniel Granlund Gagner
Dorsett Sutter Burmy.

No matter how you line this team up always going to have some sort of weird problem.

Virtanen needed to gain about 10 strides to become an everyday NHL player. He probably made about 5 last season and another 2 over the summer. I will honestly be disappointed if he is kept and not playing on the top line in Utica till the TDL.

I've been working hard to get our other property's ready for market and have had to PVR the preseason games.

I guess I'm not seeing the same game as others, the Sedins played just as well as all other Canuck players, which wasn't overall that inspiring, but for some here to proclaim Daniel the slower Sedin and Hank ok is laughable at least.

Why break up speed and chemistry to try to insulate two 37 year olds ? Let these other lines begin new partnerships . Let the old guys play out the year against other teams third lines and give them their solid silver hockey stick on the last game as a retirement present.

Don't delay yet another year.

Yet you are willing to put the kid BB on the roster? or is BB beyond having concerns about, as our golden child?
BTW I am a fan of Boeser, just find your comment a little bit . hypocritical.
If either one of Brock or Virtanen are top 12 forwards in camp, then one or both should be on NHL roster.
