Development. I don't like the idea of bringing kids into a team that they aren't supported by. I would rather see JV make strides in the AHL then possibly become stagnant in the NHL on a bad team.
- manvanfan

well alternatively green does seem to get JV moving and playing well, so maybe staying with him is the better plan?

Hopefully only for one year although I would like to see Loui play with the twins . Why ruin two lines?

Sven Bo BB
JV Granlund Gangner
Then I don't care

well done

Some really interesting waiver wire scraps today. Wonder if Benning acquires one to play with Boucher and Burmistrov.

The NDP announced the new leader for MB. Native. 10 years ago admits that he beat up a cab driver, spent time in jail, beat his wife. Had a drug and alcohol problem. Reformed now though.

sounds like every political party leader. Wants to rob you of your cash, scandalous history etc

Could it be that the defenses are just far more superior than the offenses?
Several of the games I have watched, it appears to be great coverages in secondary, good pass rushing and great coverage on the run.

- Reubenkincade

Always was easier to defend & coach defensive strategy.
Boils down too often if cannot rush then passing is shutdown easier.
If a team cannot run block nor pass protect it says a lot about crap linemen.
If a QB gets decent pass blocking how many r any good?
NFL has always been a defense dominant league.
It is harder to play offense than D.

Ludwig Bystrom and Mark McNeill, but only for Utica, so it can't and won't happen.
I was being a bit sarcastic.

Again, I said it's a combination of factors, but I've seen some really bad O-line play in the games I've watched (mostly NE/GB/ATL/OAK/SEA games)

Well maybe if more teams went to athletic QB's who can run when needed would help. That said its not likely given the NFL's history. Maybe why Russel falls down in a draft? The immobile QB has always sucked without an O-line making up for his shortcomings. I single out Cutler as one who is overated & overpaid. Another is Osweiller who thought highly of himself when it was his team that carried him. The best QB that was immobile that comes to mind that got it done was Marino.

DiPietro starts the year with 3 wins in four days including today's shutout - he has stopped 86 of the 89 shots he has faced

interesting you bring them up. Seems Burmistrov has shown more so far then Chaput to be on Canuck roster as Center/winger and now PP option. Not sure about PK though he seems to have game for that too.

Brady, Rostlisburger come to mind, Brady especially just because he's had to do it without a superstar WR since Moss.

perhaps the canucks experience elevated his game when he went back. Kid sounds like a gem.
- SMBDragon

That plus his WJC camp sure helped. Lind was one of Rockets leading scorers. But if you ask fan Darius who goes to their games he would say he's 4 or 5 years away. Maybe all this extra exposure will elevate his development to make some Canuck noise sooner then that.

Good question but if no contract he takes up nothing.
I believe a team is on the hook for medical attention & the bills.

- Nighthawk

thats what the PTO contract is for to address those issues. IF they attended camp wo a pto contract the player would be at own risk.

Do women dig big muscles these days? Thinking about joining a gym for the winter.
- Argue4U

The bigger the muscles the bigger the girls! Last weekend i was throwing back some broads at a bar, one after another, double fisting them and my girl calls, she's amazing but i think she's to needy.
Anyways, go to a gym get a good spotter and power lift. Son you'll be beating them off with both hands.
Also get a good job, throw around cash like a king and you'll do great.

I see Burmy as the better player.
If Chaput or Burmy is put on waivers who might get picked up?
I'd say Chaput is ZERO risk & Burmy would be picked up.

Nope. Fishing the Skeena area. And Jesus was here leaving pamphlets and god bless books in the poopter in our campground but my father threw it all in the guy's fire pit and he packed up his bible camper and went looking for some better people to bother.

No argument there.

Trying to add humor in that response. Is it working
