No Yamamoto this year. Possibly 9 games, but that's it. Far more important for him to go back to juniors this season. He can dominate the WHL, play against the best prospects in the world at the WJHC, and either go on a playoff run in the WHL for Spokane, or in the AHL for Bakersfield if they get eliminated. |

I think it's very probable that both Yammy and Pulju get sent down by the time Slep comes back. Jokinen has the ability to play RW and he is one year removed from a 60 point season.
Strome
Caggiula
Slepyshev
Kassian
Jokinen
All capable of 35 points while Strome and Jokinen are capable of 50+ - Vanillaface
I would send Pulj down as well as Yamamoto. If Pulj plays well in Bakersfield, he's the first call up, otherwise, he can play down there for the year. He hasn't impressed this camp so far. |

Cagguila would be almost doubling last years output. Then again, most people here seem to think they would be dissapointed if Strome didn't have a 40-50 point season. He had 30 points last season and 28 the year before. |

I would 1000% prefer to pick up a rental player and leave him down this year after his 9 games or just right off the hop. |

In fairness, he's played just a single game in the preseason so far. It's folly to try to accurately gauge whether a player has "impressed" or not based off a single game. |

Hence why I said if conditions are right. If the team suffers some injuries and the Condors aren't in contention in the playoffs anymore, then I see no issue with giving him some valuable experience. Playoff games don't count towards the 9-game limit anyway. What's the harm? |

I hope we have the depth to not use him and he can get a lengthy run in Spokane or Bakersfield |

not to make excuses, but our Penticton roster would look a hell of a lot better if Dahlen, Pettersson, Gaudette and Lockwood were on it. Not a hell of a lot better, but 3 of those prospects are considered be in our top 5. Still a long ways away, but slowly but surely getting there. If we can land one of Dahlin or Svechnikov next draft, we will be slowly on the right track |

If Boeser is the only prospect who makes this team out of camp, I don't really think the team is much in denial anymore. I am really hoping that Benning sells off Vanek, Burmistrov, Weircoch, Gudbranson, Boucher at TDL. Let the kids all marinate in Utica. Face it, until the Sedins are done, there is no point in doing anything that will make our franchise competitive. Sell off as many declining assets at TDL and build through the draft. |

We don't really have much promise going on within the organization, but yes, he is our one promising piece moving forward. Pettersson should be great as well. I am hoping the Canucks get Top 3 picks in the next 2 drafts to really expedite this rebuilding process. Sedins can retire and that will be a great first step |

Demko was excellent against the flames the other night. With Markstrom and Nilsson signed, I think Benning is going to let Demko develop in the AHL for a few years. I think grabbing Dipietro was a smart move too. Demko won't see NHL time unless an injury happens. |
