Checking the boxscores for our prospects is going to fun this year but having Kosorenkov and letting him walk is gonna hurt when checking those scores especially when checking in on Laberge. I still don't understand why they didn't keep this kid, in the limited time I saw him in camp, he outperformed most of our forward prospects and we have a pretty good pool.

If this kid was picked in the 4th round, we'd have been talking about how much of a steal he was.

I don't get this line of thinking.

Why let the experience of a player dictate if they should or should not make the roster? Why not let their play on the ice dictate if they play and when?

I don't care if every player on the roster is a rookie, if they are all better then the other, tried and true, experienced guy, then they should play over the experienced guy.

I will take skill and hockey smarts over experience every day of the week.

And this nails why I set the defense the way I did. 6 best D in camp so far play. And then the Manning A Mac decision is based on not wanting to lose Manning for nothing. I didn't use a trade as an out on any of my decisions.
