Trying to rid myself of a well-earned hangover - so sipping a little bit of the hair of the dog. Frank you - I ran a marathon six days ago, so don't judge me.
Anyhoo, sensitive guy next to me was hitting on our bartender. His game reminded me of Marancin.
He was happy to give her life advice with a heaping side of empathy. But he was doing it wearing a Metallica concert shirt. Dude was easily in his 30s.
He just left without making a move.
I would happily put $100 on him dying a virgin. - Atomic Wedgie
I think I know that guy! He's in his 40's now!
Very likely a different guy, but I actually did know a guy that was a virgin and I think 38 or 39 at the time? That was several years ago now. He really had no game at all.
Most of them do not wash fruits and salads with bottled water. Stayed at a 6 star resort once in the Dominican on the recommendation of a friend. Entire family was sick for weeks (I was sick for months). The resort was at that time the most exclusive and expensive on the Island. In addition, we were told not to leave the resort for safety reasons. - winsix
Cuba was great. Food was great (resort was very clean). Leaving the resort is fine. No horror stories.
Probably not. All I did for a week was drink and smoke cigars in the sun with one trip on a catamaran, one trip into town, and one hike up the hills along the shoreline.

We have a night time, glass bottom boat ride in the Bermuda Triangle. Not running with scissors, but pretty cool. - bixll
I go to this place in December, my son likes the slides, clean, lots of fun things to do. A bit pricey but overall worth it and a short flight from TO.

I've heard lots of good things about Cuba, but I'm a conservative sort of guy. I started travelling at a very young age and stick to the experiences that were my favorites. In the Caribbean - Barbados, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands. I did have a fantastic trip to Jamaica once, there was golf course I played called the White Witch that was amazing - but I wouldn't go back for safety reasons. For tropical holidays - much prefer the Central Pacific - Hawaii, also liked Fiji very much.

Atlantis, very cool place.. - bixll
Been there 9 times, family likes it, less than 3 hour flight and no issues with safety or running to the John. Can get crowded at spring break but its ok. They have a place in Dubai as well.

Beautiful place for sure. We found Nassau to be over priced compared to many of the other islands. But very beautiful.

I'm no millionnaire by any means so I primarily look for deals and try to get places I've never been. I'm a culture/food/drink kind of tourist so I'd pretty much go about anywhere that's new or 'exotic' or eye-opening.

I can appreciate that, I've been all over Europe and I like art and architecture so places like Paris, Florence, Amsterdam, Venice, Vienna were amazing. Years ago did a trip through Scandinavia - it was amazing, the women in Finland were stunning. On this side of the pond, though, I would love to enjoy Mexico - rich in culture and history. I even have several friends that own property there and invite us all the time. I just can't though - too many tourist horror stories. I hear you about money -it is a factor. For me though, you save up your money and vacation time and it is precious- so I don't want to jeopordize it.

Sounds like you would like a trip down the Volga. It's beautiful in the summer.
