A friend bought a place in Florida a year ago. He is now waiting to hear how much damage he has to pay for.

I agree, ditto for Marincin, but essentially Leafs will put both on waivers and since no-one will claim either, they could save $2 million off the cap. The penalty would be only $1.25 million for both players which would only be for this year. No biggie.

All appear to be excellent options, but the Sid and Pens' PP factors place Guentzel ahead of Keller and Hischier for me. If you don't go with Guentzel, then I think Nico is the safer bet.

I'm the same way with Caribbean - I go twice a year - stay away from high crime - "Ring of Fire" places - But as far as owning, for me I think Hawaii would be ok - a bit more expensive and a long flight but only have to worry about volcanoes, not weather or hurricanes.

True but few Islands have quality drinking water and low crime rate. One of the problems with being wealthier than the average Joe on a Caribbean Island is that you have a giant target on your back. The drinking water issue in cheap vacation spots like the Dominican or Cuba or Mexico giving visitors the green sh!ts for weeks, ruins any positives about saving money for me.

He was happy to give her life advice with a heaping side of empathy. But he was doing it wearing a Metallica concert shirt. Dude was easily in his 30s.

He just left without making a move.
