Daniel was 40 in 47 made playoffs. 47 in 73 missed. 76 in 82 made. 61 in 82 missed. 44 in 82 missed.

Henrik was 45 in 48, made playoffs. 50 in 70 missed. 73 in 82 made. 55 in 74 missed. 51 in 82 missed.

I guess my point is the team needs the Sedin's to be elite. Being "decent" won't change the team.

- manvanfan

I haven't got a frickin clue what any of that means or what you're talking about? I said I expect the Sedins to be slightly better but the team will still suck. You go on to tell me "The only time in the past 5 seasons that the Sedin's have been better is when they made the playoffs" which is untrue!

They were better two years ago and they didn't make the playoffs....so what are you going on about? You're off-topic, arguing for the sake of arguing and you're starting to sound like Nuck4U???

So Schenikov or however you spell it. Scored 2 goals in his debut. Barrie won 11-1 and their top forward line was 3 russians.

Hopefully Eriksson has a better year, which I'm positive he will, because he might have some trade value at the deadline.....wishful thinking

Pretty much, the supporting cast isn't good enough to allow them to be the secondary scoring. Only Bo(and Sven potentially) have a good case for more minutes than them. The rest simply aren't better offensive players.

Maybe Brock takes the league by storm in his rookie season and slots in as the RW to take the Bo/Sven duo to the next level and really supplant the Sedins.

So the 2 seasons the Sedin's were "better" they made the playoffs but 1 season that Daniel but not Henrik was better they sucked.

Would 35-45 points be a reasonable number for Brock if he plays with Baert and Bo for a full season?

Henrik Daniel and Horvat will lead the team again for forwards, no one is good enough to push them aside yet....damn you Mike Gillis

That's one line combo that might have a chance to out do Sedins this season. Perhaps if a Granlund Bumistrov JV line gelled to put in support/secondary production that would add to it too.

Then maybe with the cumulative production of those lines you got something to make a case that Sedins aren't needed back next season. Could then open way for the prized prospects to show they can earn sheltered roles next season too.

It would be a development win if all that above came about.

Agreed, his 2 way play was solid during his first year. Would also like to see him throw some more hits on the forecheck.

People here said he doesn't have hockey IQ when he was a piece of meat , now he uses his head to play smart and people want him to be a banger

That was basically what I was losing my poop about last night. People are so back and forth, up and down about players. So many only see one thing at a time and miss the entire picture.

Seeing Henrik not able to raise the puck more then half way up the net was ________

I seen a few times where the twins timing was very slow and missed chances.

I thought Loui was invisible and looks on pace for another 11 goal year.

thought Granlund Sven Bo and Burmi looked good.

1 for 12 on the PP was a joke

It was the first game of the year for them but I agree. They were a step behind in both zones. I still don't think they should play together.

I think Loui gets to 15 and around 36 points.

Granlund, Bumry, Baert, Bo were good. I hope that JB locks up Granny and Sven early on. If he can get them somewhere in the 3 million range for a few seasons. Do it early before he needs to break the 4 million mark.

That is how I took it as, game one timing is off.

I want to lock up Granlund . Sven I wait and see more . 15 goal Sven trade 20 + goal Sven sign
