EG is 25 & Demers has done nothing far longer. I'll give EG one healthy season before Demers always.

I know that! I started the argument that Guds is worth more then Demers. I remember Demers defending in the playoffs for Dallas. It was embarrassing. Guds last season was better defending then Demers ever has. Defensemen that score and can't defend don't do poop for me.

Reason why Ottawa took the next step last season. Karlsson added shooting blocking and actually playing some D to his game.

Yeah so far the structure of pushing the pace and puck control is showing more. Even D having leeway to go into the o-zone. They may get burned more but it looks less static.
