The notion that it is cheaper to live in buffalo is a very false one.

It is cheaper to drink in Buffalo, for sure, but to live IE(Buy a house, own land etc) nope.

I like to stay at the McIntosh trail in Red House when I go. I like the style cabins there and that they're not generally too close together.

Yeah it is cheaper to own land and housing in the Buffalo area...

$220K house in the suburbs of Orlando and its a modest 3 bedroom 2 bath 1300 sq feet

In say West Seneca, NY you'd get more bang for your buck as well as a much better school district

Food is cheaper in Buffalo as well...

As an outsider that's BS...

You can't have a draft and then decide it's going to be a keeper league.

If you want it to be a keeper league you start it after next years draft.

Zeke and Evans would probably be higher up than say McCoy.

It does change drafting strategy.

Most places have the same options, with better waether, cities etc.

I am not well traveled, but it isn't even a debate if you asked me where I'd rather be if I were 21, here or Las Vegas.

I know, to each their own, but I don't think too many young adults in other cities are moving here by the dozens

I have lived in Memphis, Chicago, and Tampa. Each city has their own unique style and different things to do. I have never lived in Buffalo but I have visited and Buffalo was a fun town to visit. Obviously there are professional sports teams, bars/breweries, parks, cool music/art scene, good dining, and it's an easy city to navigate. I have never been a night club guy so I can't speak to that. I feel like if I grew up in Buffalo in my early 20's there would be enough things for me to do. I guess bright lights from places like Vegas or NYC can be appealing to some but you can do the same things in smaller cities just without the glamour.

So that's why you go back down the draft order

Nashville is insane right now with home prices but the taxes help a lot.

Property taxes for a $250K house are about $3500 a year

On the lower end for sure.

However almost every highway you take you have crazy tolls. Like my buddy pays $12 a day in tolls to get to work. $3000 a year in freaking tolls.

So make that $6500...

For Buffalo people imagine having to pay $12 a day in tolls to get to and from work.

If you don't have to take tolls to get to work you're one of the lucky ones here.
