You aren't an occupant of hell. You are just an employee. They would put you in the terrorist wing of hell to continuously talk about how much all of the up and coming terrorist totally suck and that you'll never achieve victory over the infidels or acquire the promised 72 virgins. - Pete V

Chytil must start. he looks like a stud. very smooth and plays a similar game to Zib. ADA also looked real good. He better start. RD 3rd pairing with anyone other than Staal. id go with Graves - he has some edge to his game that i like. not too fast but ADA seems to make up for that.
LGR! - richardson30
While Chytil looked very impressive in his 1st preseason game, I'm not sure I'm ready to give him a spot because of 1 game. Lets see how he does over the next few.

Were they the kind of people who ate 2/3 of their meal and then tried to send it back? There's a special place in hell for those people. - eichiefs9
In Canada it's called "The Keg!"
Not sure whether you guys have them, but it's widely know that if you complain, you will get stuff for free. (frank)ing corporate restaurants!
Actually, I thought about throwing this out there before -
I served at the Keg overlooking Niagara Falls while I went back to college a handful of years ago and one night I served a couple of die-hard Rangers fans from NY who said they were seasons ticket holders. Wasn't by chance any of you guys, was it?
...you stiffed me on the tip!!!! |

I know a couple people who worked in restaurants. If you eat most of your meal and then complain, you don't want to know about what you are getting with your new meal. - mdw7413
A friend of mine is a well known chef. At a nachspiel after a few too many, he told us a few stories about that. I wish he wouldn't have... |

Yeah, that's always a possibility. I've worked 11 years of my life in restaurants, but I've never done anything like that. Karma, you know. I like to eat out too much! |

I think there's absolutely no room for him right now, may as well get him acclimated in Hartford now |

I guess, but hell I would have thought they would have got him into 1 game.
Unless he is really good and the coaching doesn't want the fans to see it because Staal will become target #1. |

There were issues that saw him go from "exceptional player status" to "late 3rd round pick". Not saying that was the case here, but it's certainly a possibility. |

Well yeah, everything I read said that he had some maturity/hockey IQ issues and that was what contributed to his poor play and sliding in the draft.
I still think it was a good risk by the Rangers taking him in the late 3rd, but the fact that he didn't even get in a preseason game probably isn't a good thing. Doesn't make him a garbage prospect by any means, but I have to imagine they wanted to see more out of him. |

I was praying that he would fall to the Rangers in the third round, because the kid has elite measurable -- skating, shot, size, etc. But that's the reason he is a 3rd rounder and not a Top 10 pick where his athleticism should place him.

Yeah he certainly seems to have all the physical/measurable tools you'd love in a defenseman but if he can't keep up mentally and/or doesn't have the work ethic to put in the sweat equity needed then it's all a big waste. |
