What's going on with Dal Colle? Is he going to turn into the player the Isles hoped for him to be?
- tomburton99

My guess is he ends up being a middle-6 forward. His skating is bad. He's got a great shot and good size though. Doubt he is ever a major impact player, but my guess is he'll still have a somewhat-valued role on the team. I could live with a third line of Beauvillier centering two big shoot-first wingers, in Bellows and Dal Colle.

Not what you want to see from a 5th overall pick, but that top-10 turned out to be largely-underwhelming. I admit I didn't want it at the time, but selecting Nylander probably would have been the right move.

Anthony Stewart tweeted a picture of it.

I have no idea if that's some sort of goofy prototype or what, but it's horrific looking.

Bellows is gonna be good. He's a good skater.

Edit: You also gotta like him leaving college and going to the WHL. Should help his game.

It's pretty horrific? I wonder it's designed for puck to go through it?

Idk just seems odd.

I'm not really sure how to feel about him. He's a big boy and he's growing into his frame, so I know his development will probably be slower. I don't know if I ever see him being an "impact player" either, but I think he'll be versatile. He's got a good shot and likes to shoot and plays a heavy game. Like Dal Colle, I'm thinking versatile middle six forward. It's not a shortcoming that I'm aware of, but I think developing, at least, a decent defensive game will be key for him.

I do think jumping over to Portland will be better for him in the long run. Busier schedule and more physical pro-style game will benefit him a lot more than playing an over-officiated college game with a lighter game-load.

Mayfield is bad. So is Pelech.

If Mayfield could actually learn defense and positioning, he has some decent wheels for a big guy.

Seemed like Kreider got the best of him. End of the video shows Andersson whipping a puck at the boards.

I'm actually surprised they don't have Kreids do more faceoffs. He is fantastic on the dot from what I remember.
