I had to get a 4k TV and subscribe to Leafs TV to truly understand Matt Martins role as a deterrent of injury to our young stars. Last night alone, how many times did Matthew get injured? Nylander? NADDA! You wouldn't be able to see it without 4K though.
Edit: careful though. If they zoom in on Martin with this on you might mistake his fear inducing presence as directed at you. I recoiled from my TV multiple times. |

Ummmmm, for moments in that game no one could touch Matthews. He was playing with kids... on a different level.

He had a good shot, but other than that Sens D intercepted all of his cross ice passes. Don't worry, he's still on his way to become a superstar, but yesterday no one in the leafs seemed like they were ready to play. |

Leafs should not wait another 3+ seasons in order to get their defense sorted.
Time to make some decent trades.

I would support that decision. Defence is woeful, but your team has so much offensive talent that it would be beneifical to trade players like Kadri and/or JVR for one top 2D or two defence ranging from the Top4 to Top6 D. |

Is there a player that is on the bubble that is good on shootouts?
2. Who will be Leafs goalie in shootouts? (Andersen is really bad in the shootout). Leafs should sign a backup that is able to step in in shootouts. |
